The City Treasures Quest

This is a locational walking quiz that begins outside the tourist information centre, which located next to the town hall building. Ensure you have your One-Chester app open on your smartphone and locational services switched on. As you approach the centre and stand outside you will receive the first clue on your phone. The clue directs you to another interesting site in the city, walk up to it and you will receive the next clue in the sequence when you are close enough. There are twelve locations altogether around the city, and the walk is approximately a mile.

Complete the full quest in the correct order and you’ll instantly receive an app voucher for a free ice cream or hot drink redeemable close to the final destination.

Going for Gold

Complete the above quest and you gain entry to Going for Gold, where there’s some real treasure to be won by the first person to locate it!

A further clue will be released in the form of an App message on May the 1st. Solving this clue will lead you to a further location, revealing another clue. Solving that one and the subsequent one, will lead you to a final destination, if you are the first person to answer the final clue correctly you will win the gold.

Note that the gold is not buried or hidden at the final location, to claim it you need to send the correct what3words coordinates of the final location to Loyalty Pro. The first person to do so will be invited to our offices to collect the gold.
